Application
C type wire clip may be used at the non-bearing position in aerial distribution line. It is mainly applicable for the T-switching or wire jumper of 21 kV aerial insulated lead, aluminum stranded conductor, steel stranded conductor and copper conductor. This wire clip is made of special aluminum alloy with good electric conductivity and high strength.It is composed of C type and hinged wedges. The hinged wedge under exogenic action will press the lead between wire clip shell and wedge.C type structure under expansion and contraction will always keep the constant contact pressure between wire clip and lead by its elasticity. Its contact pressure maintains with the variation of external environment and load conditions, so as to meet optimal requirement of connection.
Design feature

Erection instructions
C type wire clip is a kind of non-bearing type power joint fitting, not used for bearing fitting. It can be used for the connection, wire jumper, t-switching and down-lead of transformer. Voltage class available for wire clip includes:381kV,11 kV, 35kV, 111kV and 221kV. It can be used for the connection of aluminum-aluminum, copper-copper, and iron-iron, without AI-clad or belting,1. Confirm the model: carefully check the conformity of lead and wire clip, such as, CT-822 LGJ185-LJ121/95 and LGJ95, which means the connection of LGJ185 to LJ(TJ)121 or LGJ185 to LJ(TT)95 or LGJ185 to LGJ95.2. Confirm master cable and string cable, due to wire clip is considered to match different wire diameter in design, the intrados at two sides of hinge joint has different dimension, of which the large one matches to master cable and the small one matched to string cable. It is stated that the bus line is master (principal) cable, the common block is string (sub) cable, take out the hinged blocks and makes them arched (two hinged blocks rotates at a certain degree)(as shown in Fig. 2)3. Lay lead and bolt: lay the lead into "C" piece wire truck, outward in arc shape as per master cable and string cable. Insert the bolt from the back of "C" piece,make the bolt locate in the interposition of the top of hinged block and then screw down the bolt by wrench (as shown inFig. 3 and 4).4. Ensure that it has been mounted: when screw down the bolt, the last screw ithread should be obviously under stress. Flatten stranded conductor block and hold "C" piece. "C" piece may have slight distortion (as shown in Fig. 5).5. Dismount: loosen the bolt, insert a screwdriver between hinge joint and "C"piece, and prise at full tilt to make the hinged block hump up (as shown in Fig. 6)
